Was a pleasure to be invited to Vogue House, at Conde Nast to showcase BeatWoven alongside some other incredible digital innovative designers and brands, for the board meeting of 'Design Ideas for 2015' with Wired magazine. 3D printed puzzle chairs by Imakr and Digital dresses by Cute Circuit were the handful of selected brands alongside BeatWoven.

BeatWoven presents with pianist Leon McCawley, and conductor David Charles Abell, London Philharmonic Orchestra (LPO) at The Royal Festival Hall.

 It was fascinating to hear how the LPO timed their music performance around the film to movements and script.

Last Friday night was the night BeatWoven had been waiting for all summer! It was the night Rachmaninoff met London Philharmonic Orchestra and 'Brief Encounter' at the live screening at The Royal Festival Hall. The performance was stunning! 'BeatWoven Translates music into Textiles' Cool Hunting Blog, U.S.A

 

 

A Creative Journey - Rachamninoff.

BeatWoven was commissioned by The Southbank Centre to translate the theme music from David Lean's film The Brief Encounter (1945), Rachmaninoff Piano Concerto No.2, into a BeatWoven art installation to be hung at The Royal Festival Hall. There will be a small collection of woven products available at The Southbank Shop.
